11.02.17 Une création qui va enflammer la scène de Nuithonie !

Fabienne Berger invite le groupe de rock expérimental Hubeskyla, le créateur vidéo Michael Egger, les danseuses Caroline de Cornière, Margaux Monetti et Marie-Elodie Vattoux autour d’une collaboration inédite. TURN OUT, qui peut tout aussi bien signifier éteindre, révéler, s’arranger ou rassembler, questionne la relation de la danse avec la puissance du son et de l’image. Quatre performeuses, quatre corps-instruments se confrontent à une musique hypnotique et des expérimentations vidéo débridées. De cette rencontre émerge une osmose énergétique où les langages scéniques se complètent, se répondent ou résistent sans se paraphraser. Une véritable explosion sensorielle à ne pas manquer.

Sur un dancefloor dans la forêt, un DJ fou de techno (Valentin Savio alias Sainte Harare) rencontre une chanteuse et guitariste de rock’n’roll (Laure Betris alias Kassette). Ils ont en commun un amour inconditionnel des synthés analogiques, sons cosmiques et atmosphères psychédéliques. Après quelques dizaines d’heures de jams frénétiques, ils s’adjoignent les compétences de Mr Disgustn Bhavior, percussionniste et chanteur tout droit sorti du Beyrouth underground. Du Moyen Orient 60’s aux caves de Détroit en passant par le krautrock, HORIZON LIQUIDE propose une musique sans frontières.
Michael Egger, inventeur fou et videoinstrumentaliste accompagne le tout sur sa cithare vidéo avec des images psychédéliques en mouvement perpétuel.

Die kommenden ModularDays finden an den zwei Wochenenden (FR/SA/SO) zwischen dem 28.10.16 und dem 6.11.2016 in der Galerie im Chrämerhuus Langenthal statt. Parties mit elektronischer Musik und tollen Live-Acts finden darüber hinaus, am 11.11. und am 12.11.16 in der Gaststube statt. Wegen der Lärmimmissionen verzichten wir am dritten Wochenende voraussichtlich auf das Synthesizer Treffen in der Galerie. Dafür machen wir aber richtig laut für die Parties! 
In der Galerie ist jeweils zwischen Freitag Abend und Sonntag Nachmittag (jeweils Fr, Sa, So am 28.-30.10.16 und am 4.-6.11.16) jeder und jede eingeladen, seinen Synthesizer oder sein Musikinstrument mitzubringen um mit uns zu musizieren, zu experimentieren, zu tauschen u.ä. Eine Voranmeldung für aktive Teilnehmer (mit Musikgeräten) ist für uns nützlich, keinesfalls aber zwingend. Auch die Besucher und Interessierten ohne Instrumente sind während den Öffnungszeiten herzlich eingeladen um zu schauen und zu verweilen. Es gibt viel Spannendes zu hören und zu sehen.

Hier eine Vorschau zu den geplanten Akvititäten

• Am Fr. 28.10.16 StartUp Event im Chrämerhuus, in der Galerie. Details: spontan, Ort: Galerie, ev. Gaststube
• Am Sa. 29.10.16 spielt das STS (Synthesizer Treffen Schweiz) einen 6-stündigen Synthesizer-Ambient-Jam in der Gaststube, von 18.00-24.00 Uhr. Mit dabei ist auch wieder das eindrucksvolle OpenSource Video-Synthesizer Projekt Synkie von Anyma, den Bastel-Künstlern aus Fribourg. Fast die Hälfte des Raumes (für 80 Personen) werden durch Künstler + Synthesizer in Beschlag genommen. Zum Glück bleibt die andere Hälfte den Besuchern zugänglich. Galerie bleibt geöffnet. 
• So. 30.10.16 Nachmittags. Seismic Industries stellt seine Schweizer Eurorack-Module in der Galerie vor. Anlass geplant, jedoch noch nicht bestätigt. Der DIY-Workshop findet voraussichtlich nicht statt.
• Synthesizer-Treffen, LivePerformanzen und Soundscapes am Wochenende vom 4.-5.11. Details: spontan, Ort: Galerie, ev. Gaststube
• Party am Fr. 11.11. (Galaxist) in der Gaststube mit Knack, Choco und Menthol Live! sowie Volca Massaker Orchester Live!. Natürlich mit den Galaxist DJs
• Party am Sa. 12.11. in der Gaststube mit RenKen Live! und Olan Live!. Natürlich mit den Freakclan DJs

Ein detailliertes und jeweils möglichst aktuelles Programm, Infos zu Sonderanlässen, Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten und zur Lokalität sind auf synth.ch zu finden. Ebenso bietet die Chrämerhuus Webseite einige ergänzende Informationen. Das Chrämerhuus ist übrigens nur 7-8 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt.

Michael Egger adds structure and feedback by means of his new image-instrument called Video-Zither.

And the circle closes as the musician inspires himself by the stream of images he receives..

Inès est basé sur des expériences menées depuis des années dans les domaines du théâtre, de la musique, des arts visuels et des arts électroniques. Il fait intervenir plusieurs machines et phénomènes qui s’adressent aussi bien aux yeux qu’aux oreilles. Les machines sont constituées à la fois d’éléments de récupération et de processeurs technologiques extrêmement sophistiqués. Aussi bien instrument que sculpture, chaque machine possède une personnalité propre qui fait d’elle une sorte d’acteur. Inès, qui donne son titre au spectacle, est par exemple inspirée du mannequin Inès de la Fressange. Certains personnages-machines ont des origines animales – Le Serpent, Le Chien, L’Oiseau, etc.

Ces créations accompagnent les acteurs sur scène et fabriquent avec eux la musique qu’ils composent ou les événe- ments qu’ils déclenchent. Le travail des trois compères, basé sur la surprise et l’émerveillement, s’adresse à tous.

Analog Visuals Labor (Michael Egger, Flo Kaufmann, Max Egger) will perform on the SYNKIE togehther with BIBLIOTEQ MODLAIR (Daniel Maszkowicz) at the Gathering for Open Source Hardware at CERN, Switzerland.

The event will be streamed live as well for the Museum of Post Digital Cultures, curated by Raffael Dörig, Kunsthaus Langenthal

“The era of analog video synthesizers was very short, its potential not fully explored. It is thus the urge to further explore the possibilities of analog electronic synthetic images (and the technology behind it), not nostalgia that made the brothers Egger and Flo Kaufmann create their own analog modular video synthesizer, the Synkie. In a time were digital VJing is ubiquitous and we are used to certain digital aesthetics and clichés, the reinvented-outmoded, space-consuming Synkie creates suprising, unusual images. But Synkie is also an open source project, it’s circuit designs are documented and shared online. A web version of the sharing spirit of the early video art scene, when knowledge was shared in magazines like Radical Software and the building or manipulating of hardware (rather than buying) was an integral part.
